Recipe

Stone Soup

Heat some water in a pot

Add a stone you’ve scrubbed a lot

Sprinkle pepper, salt and herbs

Le it boil undisturbed

Drop in carrots, onions too,

Let the soup heat through and though

Stir in milk to make it sweet

Add potatoes for treat

Toss in ham bones. Let it stew

Let it bubble. Let it brew.

Taste the soup and when it’s done,

Share the “Stone Soup” with

Everyone!

Song

Father and Son Boy Zone

It’s not time to make change
Just relax take it easy
You’re still young, that's your fault
There’s so much you have to know
Find a girl, settle down
If you want you can marry
Look at me, I am old
But I am happy
I was once like you are now
And I know that’s it’s not easy
To be calm when you’ve found
Something going on
Take your time,
Think a lot
Think of everything you’ve got
For you will still be here tomorrow
But your dreams may not
How can I try to explain
When I do he turns away again
When it’s always been the same
Same old story
From the moment I could talk
I was ordered to listen
Now there’s a way and I know
That I have to go away
I know I have to go
It’s not time to make change
Just sit down, take it slowly
you’re still young ,that’s your fault
There’s so much you have to go through
Find a girl,
Settle down
If you want you can marry
Look at me, I am old
But I am happy
All the times that I’ve cried
Keeping all the things I’ve known
Inside It’s hard, but it’s harder
To ignore it
If they were right
I’d agree
But it’s then they know not me
Now there’s a way
And I know that I have to go away
I know I have to go

Bran Muffins

Ingredients:

2 c. bran flakes
1 c. milk
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:

A little butter, a little jam: make these hearty muffins a delicious part of your healthy breakfast.

Yield: 12 muffins

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a medium bowl, combine bran flakes, milk, oil, and eggs. A mixer is overkill on this, just use a spoon.

Add sugar, flour, salt, and baking powder. (If your baking powder has a tendency to clump, sift the dry ingredients together before adding.) Stir only until just combined.

Bake at 375°F for 20-25 min., or until golden brown.

Prepare muffin tins, either by spraying them with nonstick spray or by lining them with muffin papers.
Spoon batter into prepared tins.
